Mr. Usman Saadat is New Chief Executive Officer for Cable &Wireless Seychelles

Cable & Wireless Seychelles has announced the arrival of its new Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Usman Saadat, who replaces Mr. Geoff Houston. Mr. Saadat has over 11 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, including 5 years with Cable & Wireless.

At Cable & Wireless, Mr. Saadat has held a variety of roles both in the UK and in the Caribbean. In his previous position as Vice President, Marketing for the Eastern Caribbean, a grouping of 6 islands with over 170,000 fixed line and 150,000 mobile customers, he is credited with the launch of advanced mobile services, repositioning of high speed Internet Services (ADSL) and managing sponsorship of the longest running cricket sponsorship in the world.

He has previous experience in strategy, regulation, business transformation and holds undergraduate and postgraduate degrees from the London School of Economics in the UK.
