Cable Slashes International Calls - UP TO 20% OFF!

Cable & Wireless Seychelles announced today that it is reducing its international rates to seven popular countries.

As from 22nd of August 2005, all Cable & Wireless customers will benefit from cheaper rates on international calls made directly from fixed-line phones (residential & business), mobile phones (subscription & prepaid) and payphones to the following countries: UK, USA, Canada, Singapore, India, China and Russia.

The rates are as follows:

All rates above are per minute and are inclusive of GST. Inmarsat calls are not included in this reduction.

Usman Saadat, Chief Executive Officer, said: "Cable & Wireless is thrilled to bring even more value to its customers with cheaper international call rates - the lowest in the country! For the first time ever, the rate for a mobile international call matches the peak rate for fixed-line, giving our customers more choice and flexibility to call at their convenience. What's more, your international calls can now last longer!"

Peak times for fixed-line (including payphones) are from 7am to 7pm Monday to Friday whilst off-peak is from 7pm to 7am Monday to Friday, 7pm Friday to 7am Monday and all day on public holidays. The new international rate for mobile is applicable 24 hours a day.
