CWS sponsors Beach Volleyball tournament

The 2-day tournament that served off on 4th April 2009 was the first of its kind to be held at the newly built Roche Caiman beach volleyball court. With a winning purse of SR3000 at stake, male and female players looked like warriors covered in sand and sweat as they battled it out under a scorching sun. Other prizes were SR200 for the runners up and SR1000 for the third placed team.

The tournament was a good opportunity for CWS to showcase its brand new outdoor items such as the gazebos and parasols, all of which provided much needed shade and brand presence, proving quite popular with the public. CWS also conducted eTopUp promotions on location.

At the end of the 2 action-packed days, it was the Bonne duo- Jerina and Daughter Marielle- who came out victorious in the female category whilst the Guilly Bijoux/ Albert Mathiot pairing dominated the male category. On behalf of CWS, Public Relations and Marketing Executive Terry Servina gave out the prizes -which also included a USB pendrive- to the winners, and accepted a volleyball as a token of appreciation from the Seychelles Volleyball Federation.
